Story of The Bus Driver Who Cried
johnny was our bus driver during my 1st 'breather trip' around europe. he is from france and he cannot speak english, therefore, there's not much communication going on, there is only body language. each time he speak something to me, i nodded as if i understand and paused. then all of a sudden, we all break into laughter for thinking that we understand each other when in reality - we don't!

on our last night of the trip, he and the tour guide brought wine and champage. it was a little farewell gathering. he gave a long speech to all of us - in french. we all have no clue what he said. but we know he said something like :-

"its been a great pleasure driving you kids. this has been a very memorable assignment to be your driver for almost 2 weeks. i will miss you all.... i am annoyed by your tour guide for harrassing me with directions. kamsa kamsa! (everyone laughed)

my heart will miss you all, each and everybody. (in a stuttering voice, he was almost crying.... and then he cried!)"

YES Johnny, our bus driver cried. the final night together. i have never seen a man cried in my life. wait correction, i never EVER seen a man cry because of someone he hardly speaks to. I personally think it was our significant presence in his life that made him drew closer to all of us. My group of friends are kind, caring, funny and just crazy. Tho none of us understand a single word Johnny said, but we could kinda second guess what he meant :)

On our final day after breakfast, everyone looked really sad. i was feeling sad myself. 14 days was just a glimpse of an eye. i could see johnny in his own world feeling sad that he have to drive us all to the custom to catch our ferry back to uk from france. at first he jokingly said he doesnt want to send us, so he didn't want to start the engine! he wanted us to stay!

When we reached the custom at the port, he started crying. again. We all gave him a hug, and we all cried. We all... cried...

Johnny is a great driver from france, he deserve a medal for taking care of us throughout our entire journey. Also not forgetting our tour guide, Alex. We all find him extremely annoying but we know its his job.

God bless you Johnny!

Quick Dublin Goodbye
It's not easy to say goodbye to something that means so much to you. It could be something or someone, in fact or a place... i had a hard time leaving my condo in kuala lumpur :( i hold back my emotions as much as i can because it was the right thing to do. if not i will never be able to move on. i would stuck there... forever!

Goodbye isn't always a sad thing. Tho most of my goodbyes are kinda sad, but i would like to see it in a positive way. Like another word of saying "Look, i'll see you later alright?" (of course, in reality, we all know we gotta move on right?)

But we got Facebook these days, we got MSN Messenger and even Skype! So for heaven's gate, i'll speak to you soon! And that's my Goodbye to you :)

To Dublin and all the significant people in my life while i was in Dublin... See you later ;) *HUGS*

love,
stella matilda
