Autumn Has Arrived

Think gloomy, cold and depressing. Yup, it's now autumn and it's time to put on more clothes. Preferably thick that makes you look like a fury bear!

Going to make plans for a nice photography trip around here. I really want to capture the beauty of autumn again. Beautiful colours from the trees' leaves preparing for the winter is just out of this world.

Until then, my thoughts and prayers are with the people of US & Canada (victims of the hurricane Sandy). Wish you safe and God be with you all always.

One Magic Moment

you know how when you're in a relationship and you waited for that one magic moment in your life to happen, but it never did. so it ended. it wasn't because you did something wrong. it wasn't because one of us gave up. it wasn't because one of us finally decided to walk away from being tired of waiting. it is most likely all the above. and then, as you walk away setting yourself free from this wait. that one magic moment which you waited for so long suddenly coexist. this magic moment wasn't just for a day, it lasted for a long time. until finally, you call that one magic moment yours. that one magic moment that will last for a life time...

it was the perfect fit after all...
and all the above was meant to happen, it was just about a matter of time.

A Little Update

Sup everybodehhhh :)

Hope all of your had some great times lately. For me, i have been lazy and haven't been working out for 13 days and yesterday was my first attempt to get back into my 6 packs abs goal. Ohhh it was HARD i tell ya... Feels like Day 1 all over again. But got some new moves to try this time with the new 12.5kg weights James just bought.

My mom said she's not well so she did blood test. Hope she's ok and get proper medication soon. Guess our parents are getting old now and we are all so grown up. Now it's our turn to take care of them, make sure they eat right and take their medication, just like us when growing up being forced to eat "healthy" and the Cod Liver Oil vitamins.

Remember the stray cat we look after for a while? Thundercat? Well, we send her off to the SPCA few weeks ago because she don't seem well and it's almost winter here. We can't adopt her into this home because nobody will take care of her when we move back to KK, so we had no choice but to bring her to SPCA. The vet said she is sick and will give her medication, if Thunder may or may not respond to treatment due to her old age. If Thunder not respond to treatment, SPCA will put her to sleep. If she does, then she will be rehomed or join the rest of the cats at the shelter. At the point, I just want to remember her this way. Happy :)

So we have 3 months left in UK then we will be flying to Kuala Lumpur first. We will be staying in Kuala Lumpur for a few days to get some legal documents sorted out before the wedding. Since James is considered foreign, so we need to legalize our marriage certificate in Kuala Lumpur. It's a long list of things we need to do before the "big day". Not really excited at this point! Just want to get it over with, plus the cost to throw a wedding is so..... beautiful!!! Like Diamond in the Sky hahahaha :(

I will be job hunting again cause I won't be going back to KL to my old job, so hurraayyyy.... :(  *thinking*

Anyways, hope everyone is well.

Venus Flytrap Plant

The Venus Flytrap (also Venus's Flytrap or Venus' Flytrap), Dionaea muscipula, is a carnivorous plant that catches and digests animal prey—mostly insects and arachnids.

My new plant for my office :)

Thanks Ed!

Ticket To Teach

I have always wonder what's it like to learn the basic teaching skills. I have been a teacher once with no experience at all. But good thing that the school provided me notes for every lesson. It was simple to be honest as it was all about make-up and grooming (something I know a lot about in general). I was actually a Grooming Tutor/Instructor for an airlines service provider.

I learned that teaching isn't about how much you know on a specific topic, but it's about how effective is your lesson delivery approach. However,  believe it or not it's the teacher's personality that plays the biggest part of teaching. If you are generally a funny and approachable person, your students will most likely enjoy listening and interacting with you. Interaction creates interest and interest motivates the brain wanting to learn more.

So no wonder my students back in the airlines school was very interactive. They ask me a lot of questions and  even the shy ones slowly coming out of their shells. It was a very interesting moment for me. I know that job has made me want to try to get a ticket to be a teacher. A qualified one and see if teaching is actually mean't for me...

Last week was my assessment for the TEFL course which I enrolled with TEFL England and it was held at the Hilton Hotel here in Bristol. So throughout the course, our tutor taught us German language and the idea to this is so that we (as teachers) would know what's it like to be a student learning a new language.

For my assessment, I had to prepare a lesson plan of teaching Malay language to complete beginners and I have to say... I nailed it! In the assessment, you are not allowed to translate the words into English so there was plenty of mime, body language, contrast and props. It was a lot of fun and laughter as I wasn't afraid to act out several words even though it made me look quite silly. But in the end, they all learned Malay and that made me happy kitty.

At the end of my course, the tutor announced that I have passed with flying colours! Phew! I am so glad that is finally over. Now I am proud to say that I am a qualified teacher and I can speak German too. Haha!

YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation (Review)

My first Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation was a complimentary from Glamour Magazine. When I first put them on my skin, it feels really different from all the other foundation i have used before. It's weightless, soft and you only need a really small amount to spread them over as the liquid is thick.

You can feel your skin feeling so soft and pure once you put them on. You can forget about compact power and all that crap if you have this piece of precious!

If you're worried of your skin type, well this is the product for you because it's specially made for all skin type. Even if you have scars, this foundation works like magic to give your skin that beautiful radiant glow you always wanted.

The price range from £ 25-28 here in the U.K. but it may vary in different countries.

Have you tried the Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation yet? Let me know what you think :)
