Plans On Moving Forward

Hi guys,

I know this don't come as a shocking news knowing James and I are finally going to get married soon. Therefore, we have come to a very difficult final decision on deciding where we want to start a fresh new life together after the engagement. We choose Bristol for the start.

It hasn't been easy on us here in Malaysia since James couldn't find a decent job. Even the previous company where he work for a West Malaysia event company Kuala Lumpur based (which suppose to be organizing the Furniture Fair and Parenting Expo in 1Borneo Kota Kinabalu) ended in a bad way where he did NOT get paid for more than a month and they give empty promises, they were practically running with loses and have no courtesy to be honest to us which effects and putting a strain on our relationship. I really don't think it's worth to talk about them. I will let Karma do its job.

Life isn't easy. We all know that. And we don't survive a life with just air and water. People can be selfish, let them be. People can be cruel, so let God judge them. The rest, it's really up to us to make it better. Therefore we decided the best option for both of us is to move together back to where he belong. Its a huge gamble for me as I currently have a great job in Kuala Lumpur. It wasn't easy for me to break the news to my boss too. But I am glad that he took it really calm and understands my situation. I thank you for that.

We are flying back to my home town in Kota Kinabalu sometime next week in preparation for our Engagement Party announcement to celebrate with our beloved family and friends. This, I really can't wait. I miss my family, my dog, my friends and the food!!! I have never been happier in my entire life and I want people whom I cared the most to know how that feels to be truly madly deeply in love with this one person, your best friend, someone you will spend the rest of your life with and build a family of your own.

Wedding plans will be announce at our Engagement Party. We can't wait to see all our beloved family and friends. There are a few very important people in my life which I wish to have them at the party, but due to some circumstances they won't be able to but I know there are very happy for me. That's the most important thing.

So, to all my family and friends in KK, can't wait to see you all next week.

Love Always.

...OMG!!!! This shit just got REAL!!! xoxo

Video Clip: Koh Samui Trip 2012

I finally manage to learn how to use the video editor software. Wow... I am getting quite technical recently. I guess I have to since it is part of my job scope now! Hahaha :P

So I decided to put some music as the background for this video because I wanted to try something new. Instead of hearing my boring self talking bla bla bla, I thought because this trip is very romantic and plenty of beautiful scenery, best to put one of my favourite song to go with it.

I'm still learning about this video edit software. I recon to be very good at it by end of this year hahaha! At the mean time, hope you enjoy this 2 minute video clip I compiled.

Thanks :)

With love, Stella Matilda

Enjoy and hope to see more results on Day 7 which will be my next Video Log. Watch this space! xoxo

A Little Update

It has been about 3 months since I'm back in Kuala Lumpur and it's almost 2 months since I have been working for this company. So far so good. My boss is also pretty cool and I guess that helps make the work environment better.

I have also been thinking about getting a car soon because it's been too exhausting to commute with buses and train to and back from work. Most of the time when it's raining and shit like that, I will end up being late to work. And you know how I hate being late for work. By end of this month I should be getting myself a car. Still thinking which car to get!

Last Saturday night, it was me and James 9th months anniversary. Sometimes I wonder how the heck did we made it this far. We both didn't see this coming. It all sort of just happen naturally. I guess it's true what they said, "Love is like a fart. If you force it, it is probably shit".

At the moment, our current plans for this year is to spent Christmas with his family in Bristol, UK. It should be fun! A bit nervous come to think of it.... but it's only fair since he spent Christmas with my family last year.

Still no plans on moving to a house yet! We are still renting a condo at Platinum!!!! But not complaining, it's a pretty awesome condo!

At the mean time, check out this video I taken last Saturday night :)

With love,
Stella Matilda.

Surprise Balloons

What happened yesterday?
Well... I secretly planned a surprise dinner with him. Bought 8 balloons for him and waited at the table. He thought we're meeting my friend Jess. Today Jess is the ballons. The look on his face was priceless when he realized it was all a setup!!!

Was he surprised?
Hell yeah!!!! He was laughing so much it took him a while before he could focus on what's written on the menu.

Location: Ben's in KLCC
Special services: By manager/supervisor name Kamarul sang a love song as he brings the cake with candles to our table. He made the evening exactly how i wanted it to be.

Happy 8th months baby!!!

Here's a lovely song to share with you to bring more love into your life :)

Flower Surprise

Randomly received a bouquet of red roses in my office few days ago! Super embarrassed. My colleagues were all making fun of me saying i got a secret admire.

Of course from the look of this card, it doesn't say it's from who. I was very very surprised to receive this at my office because nobody knew where my office is, except for... him. It took me quite a while before deciding who it could have been. So I decided to text him.

I text him:

Me: Baby, did you just send me flowers?
Him: No... do i look like i would do something like that?
Me: HAHAAHAHAH!!! its you!!!!

That was quite an awesome kick start of my first day back in the field :)

Thanks baby! Love you long time.

Jobs For $$$$

Today i would like to share with you a little bit about myself. Growing up was fun, but it gets tougher the older you become. Older you get, the more commitment, you want better things, you want more... so in the end, people work harder to get more money to live up to their dreams. Some work just to survive. I'm sure we don't want to just survive, we want to be comfortable. I want to be comfortable. I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth, so I was taught at a very young age that we need to work hard for our money.

My parents are my role model to making my dreams come true. A happy marriage and a beautiful home. And it kinda starts from here.....

Some jobs I have done to make money :

1. Car Washer - RM5 for each car, about 8-11 years old i earn up to RM15 every 2-3 weeks for each household cause they have 3 cars. You know when I say 'they', I meant just my family..... hahaha.

2. Cleaning Service - sweep and mop the floor, keeping the house sparkly clean and tidy. I get RM10-30 per month. also just hired by mom and dad haha...

3. Ball Picker - this is one of the most stupid job i've done. I pick balls for a Sukma tennis tournament. It was RM20 per day. Under the hot blazing sun. Did it for 2 days. Only did it cause my friends also took this job, hired by our high school tennis club.

4. Bubble Tea Maker - i was working for a shop similar to Yoyo in KK, and i make rm1.75 per hour. I work up to 8 hours a day during school holidays.

5. Cashier - RM1.50 per hour for southern bakery in kk. i was like 13 and every customer thought i was the boss's daughter. of course only recently i know who the owner is!!! and i look nothing like them haha...

6. Waitress - at the age of 15-16, i follow my sister working for banquets at Putra in KK. It was close to RM30 per banquet function. its usually late night job from 6-11.30pm. its so tough... i hate waitressing.... super duper hate it...

7. Waitress job again!!!! - just when i say i hate it, as at the age of 17 when i jus arrive kl, took part time job working at Concorde hotel RM 2.30 per hour while juggling with studies. not happy memories at all.

8. I finally MODEL for money!!!! - being scouted by a modeling agency in KLCC and being groomed for almost 2 months, i was ready to sell my looks professionally. part time modeling while juggling studies. this goes for 5-6 years. earned quite alot from modeling....

9. Sell clothes for money - own clothes like that day i did over facebook, i needed some cash to move back to KL and manage to save up to RM2000!!! Thanks ladies!!! but its all gone now lol...

10. i also once sell premium pearls to wealthy people.... this was just a small time and only one time thing i did.

11. i had my time and chance running my own business... as an organizer, didn't work out the way i thought it should be.... but maybe this is actually how it suppose to be right? Only God knows...

12. for corporate organization, i've been in real estate for sales and marketing, hotel industry for corporate communication and marketing, charity organization for public relations role, i also work at bursa malaysia before monitoring share markets for asia market, a tutor/teacher for a leading air-hostess training company...... oh and now currently, a top secret foreign company :)

A permanent day job is still the best rather than odd jobs here and there. There are a million ways to make money. I just want to work smart and hard, earn my rights in the society as a professional that someday i can look back at my past smiling in my dream house with my dogs, cats, kids and my husband while indulging my favorite bottle of champagne and creme brulee in our very own swimming pool :)

Something like this.... or better :)

have a nice day everyone. hope your dreams will also someday come true :)

xoxo

A Valentine's Day Post ♥

I was waiting for James at the LRT station after work meeting. When he arrive, I thought I saw him carrying a bouquet of flowers. I really didn't expect this from him at all. My heart started to beat so fast. Feeling embarrassed, shy and overwhelmed. I walked away for a while just to catch my breath. Then I turn back and walk towards him.

"Happy Valentine's Day baby. I love you!" he said while presenting the beautiful bouquet of a dozen pink roses.
"Omg.... Wow! Thank you. I love you." i said. I couldn't stop smiling and i think my whole face turned red for the entire ride home.

Apparently I am the first girl he ever bought flowers for. I feel sooooooooo SPECIAL!!!! :)

Thank you baby! Love you long time xoxo

Strictly Sweet & Sexy

sharing my beauty and fashion secrets...

The Look
1. My Face - thank God to early pimples breakout days during high school, I do not face skin problems anymore except for having oily skin (in hot weather like Malaysia).

>>Facial Wash: Since I have no problem with my skin, I'm a slut to facial wash. I never stick to one product. I keep trying new stuff, especially the ones that smells good and it's cheap! haha! Currently using something from Body Shop.

>>Liquid Foundation: I use L'oreal Paris Revita Lift Liquid Foundation with SPF20/PA ++. This product suits my skin best as it keeps my skin ever glowing and protect it from the bad-ass UV Rays.

>>Compact Powder: I don't believe in buying expensive compact powder. This is why - I love DIOR products. I always buy them. I buy everything. Here comes the BUT - but... less than a week of owning these nice expensive compact powder by DIOR, the filling breaks! And it falls all over my bag and to the floor. I bought 3 and the same thing happen. So I decided to use cheap compact powder ever since. Currently using compact powder by Silky Girl which is so much better and it also suits my oily skin type. Totally recomended! It's cheap and it works like magic!

>>Blusher: Like sweet berries in the summer, you need some blusher. So I am currently using 2 types of blusher. In the day I would use something by Lóreal, it's a very light pink blusher. Whereas in the night, something by MAC, it's slightly woody peach colour.

2. That Seductive Eyes - thank God to my diverse culture and genetics. I have pretty cute eyes. The size and the symmetrical balance of my eyes is just right in order. No surgery needed.

>>Eyeliner: I love eyeliners because it enhance the shape of my eyes. It gives a better view of how my eyes actually look like. Since I'm into being only strictly sexy, I live my life with the best eyeliners in the world. Are you ready to know which one isit? Alright alright, I'll tell ya! The best eyeliners I've tried so far is by DIOR! Yes it's DIOR and I'm using it every single day of my life, of course except when I'm not going out, being sick or sleeping, duh.
>>Mascara: I'm a true fan of Maybelline Volume Mascara. The first time I use it, I fell in love with it right away and been using this mascara brand for almost 5 years. It's the best.

3. Liplicious
- I call my lips "Sailormoon" haha because think I have a comic like lips. The upper lips are small and lower is slightly pouty. The size of my mouth is smaller than the ideal ones.

>>Lipstick: To be honest, I hardly wear any lipstick because I like to lick my lips before I talk and eventually everything goes off. So I'm beginning to stop wearing any lipstick. But I do own a few, a red colour lipstick by Estee Lauder, 3 lipsticks by Dior, 1 lipstick by Rimmel and 1 lip gloss by Lóreal.

The Fashion
My Sweet Sexy Style: It's very personal. What I wear shows how I feel. If I feel tired and sleepy, you most probably gonna see me going out as if I'm about to crawl into my bed. If I'm up and hyper, that's the best out of me you will see ;)

1. Tip Tops - Being sexy for me is keeping it as simple as you can but with a touch of class. What I like in my closet is basic tops. I like plain colours the most - white, black and red. When it comes to prints I can only live with these 3 designs -black and white stripes, zebra and leopard only.

2. Bottoms Bumsters - I like wearing shorts. It's either something I got out of Top Shop or from a local boutique. My favorite shorts are my jeans short. It keeps me comfortably sexy in the day or night.

3. Drop Dead Dresses - I love to wear dresses. I think I'm begining to be more lady like lately as I grew older and older each day. Either that or I'm too lazy to mix and match my tops and bottoms. I have alot of dresses and all of friends keep borrowing them (still yet to see any of them back in my closet hahaha).

4. My Feet's Best Friends - I love all my heels to death. However, I hardly use them because it reminds me of work. So in reality, I actually enjoy wearing my flats more than my heels. I have pretty awesome collections of heels and I really miss them. They are currently in a box in Kuala Lumpur and will be transporting them over in December when I go back.

Any other suggestions on beauty and make-up products or a new boutique that I should look out for? Do share :)
