Special Message To Rome

Rome, you take my breath away...

Dear Rome,

After watching Angels&Demons, I started to miss you even more. I've been thinking about that coming winter month of November back in the year 2007, we had a blast. We cam-whored together, and walked everywhere like nobody's business. This picture above next to the poster of Angels&Demons brought back some great memories. I remember we had to walked over thousands of steps just to reach the highest level of the great St.Peter's Basilica Church. I could still recalled I almost gave up, but I thank God for this guy who took me there saying "It's only a few steps away, you can't give up now..." If it isn't for him, I could have never seen Rome's delicate beauty.

Some memorable places. I wonder why I didn't have pictures of me having breakfast, lunch and dinner? I think cause I was so excited with the food I forgot about taking pictures lol

A laugh even my family and friends almost pee in their pants after telling them. So we went touring up and about Rome, I didn't have much time as I was only there for 2 nights 3 days then I had to return to London and head off to Scotland the next day. I saw an Italian guy wearing a mascot of the great Gladiator Warriors' costume from miles away, he was standing right in front of Pantheon, the oldest large-scale dome in Rome. I'm easily impressed! I ran over to him and asked, "May I have a picture with you, please?" then he replied with his awesome Italian accent "Yes, of course!" He held up his fake plastic sword just for role playing pointing at me. It was really nice of him until he said, "Okay, five euros please." I was like WHOA!!! MAHALNYA!!! But I had to pay him anyways. I think he earns a lot from just taking pictures with tourist. Seriously! He's a model! LOL!

So Rome, I'll see you soon. Perhaps after the Swine Flu virus cases comes down. Peace and long live the pope hehe...

Now Air Asia has a lot of cheap fares going to London and Australia! Going Perth itself is so damn freaking cheap, its the same price with my Zara heels! But Perth is boring, if I'm ever going Australia it has to be Gold Coast or Melbourne, but I doubt I'll ever buy a ticket to Australia because I'd rather buy tickets to Europe =)

Oh I have to go Bandung soon! I heard you can shop like mad there, not? Cheap clothes that are high quality because of the high end labels' factory are in Bandung. Damn!

That reminds me, I have to do a COD tomorrow, i ordered some pretty dresses from this online boutique. They're out of this world! Love their selections!

Ok i got to go now, I have a photoshoot to attend. Have a great weekend!

Leaving The Freelance Modeling soon...

Let's see what I have achieved so far within this freelance modeling industry. Pageant? Check! Magazine spread? Check! Covers? Check! Fashion Shows? Check! Television commercials? Check! Appear in movies? Check! Endorsement? Check! Meet a whole new bunch of friends? CHECK! CHECK!

What else? Oh yes! I need to help new aspiring girls to get exposure and experience! Checking!

I have been thinking a lot, and I mean a lot. How long I have been involved with this line? I think it has almost been some good four years and I need a change. My passion is never in modeling and I will never be 5 feet 11. However I am in love with fashion. I love it so much I wish I have rats and dove just like the movie Enchanted to help me sew some dresses. They're really talented and fashionable!

This year is my final year for college, and I have had the longest discussion with myself and a little with my boyfriend. We both decided that it is time to leave this industry and focus on my final year of college. I needed to pass 5 more subjects and that's it! I'm free! Free as the birdie birds!

I know there are plenty of you out there wish to be a model, and guess what? I can help you. I have all the contacts you ever need. I'll be your Yellow Pages! I'll be your adviser! I'll be your friend! I'll be your mama! (Okay...that's little too far. LoL!)

You’re in luck! Currently, my agent has several jobs lining up and fresh new faces are always good. All we need to do is get your pictures and your profile. The types of pictures needed are mug shot and full length picture. Your profile which includes your full name, nickname, date of birth, race, religion, address, email, telephone, height, weight, vital statistic, shoe size, hair length, color, eye color, skin color, language spoken and experience (if any).

As for me, starting this June I won’t be accepting any events or motor show jobs at all except for photo shoots or jobs in the weekends. I have too much to focus on and my time is so precious this year around. I can’t afford to let my chances off again. I need all the motivation I can get from my family, friends and people who are close to me to keep me strong and focus. It won’t be easy, but I’ll have to do my very best even if it means to harass my lecturers to give me one to one classes. I will do it! I’m willing to pay extra for that extra lesson! Please oh please! I just want to get over it!

Argh! What a relief of stress there. Okay girls, you may email to me your photos and your profile to me at paristelle@gmail.com then from there I will recommend you to my agent for jobs.

Have a great week days ahead!

God Bless you all!

A Book I'd Like To Share: DEWEY

I'm currently reading a book title DEWEY. If you're an animal lover like me, then i promise you will enjoy reading this book. Click below to know more what DEWEY is all about =) He breaks my heart...such a handsome cat, who wouldn't fall in love?

Wouldn't it be great if they could somehow make a movie out of this book? It'll be damn cool! Oh Marley & Me made me cry like an old granny, I think I'll just cry like a newborn baby watching DEWEY the movie (if it will ever be made)

Dewey Readmore Books was the resident cat at Spencer Public Library. He was put in the book return one cold January night in 1988. When the staff found him the next morning, they decided to adopt him. After the library's board of trustees and the city council approved, the kitten was declawed, neutered, and given the proper vaccinations. A contest was held to pick a name, and Dewey Readmore Books was officially added to the staff. The staff cared for Dewey and donated their pop cans to feed the kitty. Patrons and friends from as far away as New York have donated money for Dewey's food.

Dewey generated lots of publicity for the library. He was featured in the local paper, Country magazine, Cat Fancy magazine, on the Sioux City television stations, in books, and on postcards. He was a video star in Puss in Books, a documentary about library cats. Of course, Dewey was already the star of the library. Many people came in just to see him. Dewey even had his own job description. Check out Dewey as a supervisor of our staff.

Dewey passed away on November 29, 2006 due to complications from a stomach tumor. He had become very frail because of hyperthyroid disease for which he was receiving medication. He died in the arms of the library director, Vicki Myron. He had just celebrated his 19th birthday eleven days before he died. Although Dewey is gone, he will be remembered by thousands of people whom he cheered by simply being a loving presence in the library. Although we may get another library cat, Dewey will never be replaced. The library won't be the same without Dewey.

Have a nice day ahead everyone =)

A Song I Wrote...

In conjunction of our previous discussion about a great relationship, here's a song i would like to share with all my beloved readers. I wrote this last year and it's obviously not completed yet. With the help of my boyfriend's expertise in playing the guitar, he made the intro for my song so beautifully. I just can't wait for the final result after our studio recording! Yay!

FYI: I'm not a great singer, that's for sure. I'm just really passionate about writing my own songs and I've been doing that just for fun since I was 13 =) It helps me explore my inner emotions...and it feels really good after that.

This is just for Demo:

About the song:
It's about a guy who loved and lost. When finally found the right girl, he is just isn't sure anymore. The girl tells him that love is one of a kind, and should always follow his heart as time will never stop. She wants him to give himself a chance to love again and to see him smile.

Lyrics:
Verse 1:
It's only a matter of time, then you'll understand
And life will only comes once, so don't waste your time just follow what your heart says,
Bridge:
And I would kiss you on yours lips and make you fall into my arms,
Then to see you cry...
Chorus:
And all the birds are singing, and everyone is talking
I want to see you smile... (to see you smile)
Now all the stars are shining although i see you crying
I want to see you smile...(to see you smile)

Repeat Verse 1
Repeat Bridge
Repeat Chorus 3x ends...

The Hallmark of A Successful Relationship

A little piece of my mind...
A great relationship don't come easy...

It takes time and effort. It's like going to school learning a whole new subject, but the only difference is that you will never graduate. Relationship with your partner can be for life. So, if you have found the right partner, that is only half the battle.

Here by experience, no matter how long you have been with your partner, you have to rigorously work and find ways to improve it.

The first and far most important part of any relationship is communication. If you can't speak up about anything, then it is not a solid relationship. It is only normal when you have something on your mind, you talk about it because only by talking you can learn and understand so much. People who don't speak their mind often hold a grudge. Therefore, it won't be a productive relationship at all.

Talk with respect, if not it is pointless. When there is talking, there has to be listening as well. Hence, when your partner open up their mind, do take your time to listen and do not hesitate to ask necessary questions for your own understanding.

Besides that, being honest with no hidden lies inside your closet is as important as communication in a relationship. You have to know that even those little 'White Lies' is not good either.

The hardest part in a relationship is trust. No matter how many heartbreaks you have been, you have to trust your partner in every way. If you can't trust your partner, your relationship will be difficult, and difficult is problem. When you trust your partner, you know you are in a good relationship and you do not worry your partner cheating on you or working late.

Before starting any relationship, it is crucial to have mutual respect. It's okay to have minor arguments or disagree with your partner's opinion, but you must always respect and accept each others differences.

The best part about a great relationship is able to depend on your partner. When that happens, you know you have reach the hallmark of a successful relationship. Having a partner that is dependable and reliable will surely give you a great sense of security within the relationship. When times are tough and when you're feeling down, you know that somebody will be there. And that is priceless!

"There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved"

How I Got My Name?

This is a special mother's day post, hope you enjoy it =)

My mom never told me the story about the day i was born yet. I can't imagine what she had gone through just to have me...her youngest little girl.

Apparently, i was her 3rd Caesarean birth, and the only story about the after birth she had told me was that she had a hard time recovering from the operation after having me. She still feel some sort of pain even it has been years ago, therefore she still wears the Caesarean belt once in a while when she needed to. The belt is designed to protect, support and soothe her stomach after the C-Section.

During mommy's pregnancy, she had already knew what to name me. She wants to call me the 'bright shinning star', the Stella for Star.

The name Stella is originally from Italy and the old French form of Latin for 'Star'. Also, Stella is the female version of the male Greek name Stelios which probably originates from the Greek "stylos" or "styli" > style (yeh, so that explains how i got my great sense fashion haha!)

Then here comes my second name and my dad suggested Matilda. This is what Matilda really means...its mainly used in English and its language of origin is Germanic (Teutonic), also known as 'brave, mighty in battle, war, fight respectively, battle maiden'. Babies with this name is very rare actually because of its powerful meaning, and i am among the #200 babies in the universe with this name when it was created back in 895 (i did some research on it, very interesting actually)

Just so you know, my dad named me Matilda because he had a crush on this lady named Mathilda before. So mine was just without the letter 'h' and my mom is such a sport, she didn't mind it at all. They have been married for 30 years now! Their anniversary was on the 9th of May (yesterday), and i thought it was really sweet because its just next to Mother's day this year =)

So Stella and Matilda, you get Stella Matilda, such a fragile yet powerful name. Sounds very English and French-ish too haha. When i was growing up, people thought my mom or my dad was English, but actually its Scottish somewhere down the road of 'back to the past' (my aunt from my dad's side told me once that our ancestors were Scottish!)

Well there you have it, how i got my name. It's definitely rare, i never like my name when i was younger because i never knew what it means and i had a fake name growing up, which was Samantha Mattfield (so lame... i know! LOL!) But now, i totally love my name because it totally describes me 101%

Thanks to my mom and dad for this beautiful name and this beautiful life i have in my hands right now, i wouldn't want it any other way!

Happy Mother's day and Happy 30th Anniversary to Mommy and Daddy! God bless you both always and many more to come =)

Special note to my beautiful parents: I'm not perfect, but i love you both and i know you love me too...

xoxo, Stella Matilda (L.S.N : another name which i will spill in the future.... stay tuned!)

Ouch!

Last Thursday night, my first meal of the day was dinner. Blah! Its nobody's fault, its me because i so malas nak cari makan and only waited for Shen to come fetch me up for dinner all the time. (i'm overly manja by him...)

So imagine la, like a hungry homeless child see food for the first time (except this child gets moody when she's hungry and not really homeless) makan like nobody's business and then O-U-C-H! (I screamed so hard, in my heart... silently...) I didn't dare to show my emotions of me tergigit my lips, because then it will make me look like some moody white rabbit that didn't know how to eat properly. Therefore, i remain silent in pain and continue eating.

Last Friday night (the next day), again I skipped my entire meal and only ate for dinner with Shen. Again i tergigit myself, this time on the right side. Again i kept quiet and continued makan, with no one to share my pain with me =( mourning the pain in my heart... Sakitnyerr!!!

So yesterday, i realize my lower lips can't really close properly and its making this thick pouty look (just the way i like it since i'm know to have Japanese Comic thin lips like Sailormoon!). My ulcers started to hurt now when ever i'm having something soupy, hot tea or salty. I decided to show my lips to Sunshine, and she thinks its infected because i didn't apply any medicine to it. She advised me to buy Difflam Mouth Gel (stronger version of Bongella), so i passed that information to Shen to help me get it since he's out (hehe... my lovely sayang so sweet!)

Been putting on that Difflam Gel since last night, and that gel really really really is stingy! It doesn't make your lips numb like the Bongella does, instead it stings it for almost 20 minutes and you can feel like your whole lips are on fire! Macam kena cili padi!

My advice for those who might kena ulcer in the future, do purchase yourself the Difflam Mouth Gel, its better than Bongella, but only put a really really thin layer of it against the ulcer. The first time i put it, i letak banyak tebal gila (i are so stupid!) then my whole lower lips sakit like giler. Biggest mistake! Arghh...

Oh and, im having the FF now! Freaking Flu... (not mexican one for sure... must be the dust and fur)

Thursday till Sunday will be working outstation, so until next time! Have a great day ahead and take care =)
