Jobs For $$$$

Today i would like to share with you a little bit about myself. Growing up was fun, but it gets tougher the older you become. Older you get, the more commitment, you want better things, you want more... so in the end, people work harder to get more money to live up to their dreams. Some work just to survive. I'm sure we don't want to just survive, we want to be comfortable. I want to be comfortable. I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth, so I was taught at a very young age that we need to work hard for our money.

My parents are my role model to making my dreams come true. A happy marriage and a beautiful home. And it kinda starts from here.....

Some jobs I have done to make money :

1. Car Washer - RM5 for each car, about 8-11 years old i earn up to RM15 every 2-3 weeks for each household cause they have 3 cars. You know when I say 'they', I meant just my family..... hahaha.

2. Cleaning Service - sweep and mop the floor, keeping the house sparkly clean and tidy. I get RM10-30 per month. also just hired by mom and dad haha...

3. Ball Picker - this is one of the most stupid job i've done. I pick balls for a Sukma tennis tournament. It was RM20 per day. Under the hot blazing sun. Did it for 2 days. Only did it cause my friends also took this job, hired by our high school tennis club.

4. Bubble Tea Maker - i was working for a shop similar to Yoyo in KK, and i make rm1.75 per hour. I work up to 8 hours a day during school holidays.

5. Cashier - RM1.50 per hour for southern bakery in kk. i was like 13 and every customer thought i was the boss's daughter. of course only recently i know who the owner is!!! and i look nothing like them haha...

6. Waitress - at the age of 15-16, i follow my sister working for banquets at Putra in KK. It was close to RM30 per banquet function. its usually late night job from 6-11.30pm. its so tough... i hate waitressing.... super duper hate it...

7. Waitress job again!!!! - just when i say i hate it, as at the age of 17 when i jus arrive kl, took part time job working at Concorde hotel RM 2.30 per hour while juggling with studies. not happy memories at all.

8. I finally MODEL for money!!!! - being scouted by a modeling agency in KLCC and being groomed for almost 2 months, i was ready to sell my looks professionally. part time modeling while juggling studies. this goes for 5-6 years. earned quite alot from modeling....

9. Sell clothes for money - own clothes like that day i did over facebook, i needed some cash to move back to KL and manage to save up to RM2000!!! Thanks ladies!!! but its all gone now lol...

10. i also once sell premium pearls to wealthy people.... this was just a small time and only one time thing i did.

11. i had my time and chance running my own business... as an organizer, didn't work out the way i thought it should be.... but maybe this is actually how it suppose to be right? Only God knows...

12. for corporate organization, i've been in real estate for sales and marketing, hotel industry for corporate communication and marketing, charity organization for public relations role, i also work at bursa malaysia before monitoring share markets for asia market, a tutor/teacher for a leading air-hostess training company...... oh and now currently, a top secret foreign company :)

A permanent day job is still the best rather than odd jobs here and there. There are a million ways to make money. I just want to work smart and hard, earn my rights in the society as a professional that someday i can look back at my past smiling in my dream house with my dogs, cats, kids and my husband while indulging my favorite bottle of champagne and creme brulee in our very own swimming pool :)

Something like this.... or better :)

have a nice day everyone. hope your dreams will also someday come true :)

xoxo

It's all about New Zealand's greatest cuisine!

Do you love juicy succulent meat? Fresh from the market seafood? I have just the perfect place for you to try something new here in Kuala Lumpur. In the heart of the city - Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur, featuring a prominent location just opposite of the world famous Petronas Twin Towers.

Just last Thursday, they launched an exclusive Taste of New Zealand in the hotel's restaurant, Gobo Upstairs Lounge and Grill offering the finest New Zealand wines and foods.

They served juicy grilled beef ribs, sirloin on lemon grass and their famous steak in town! In addition, the famous baked cheese mussels and their large variety of sweet desserts of New Zealand is something not to be missed! Not forgetting all the different types of cheese and ice cream which we all cannot get enough of! After all, New Zealand is very famous for dairy and meat products.

At the event, we had the chance to taste several notable New Zealand wines and also their unique mix of cocktails drinks. It was very good! They also served healthy tea made from New Zealand. I have to admit, I never thought that tea would taste so much better than our own tea here! It was very aromatic and I felt so relax after drinking it.

We are always on the look out to explore our taste buds and the Taste of New Zealand is just the perfect choice for a nice weekend fine dinning with your love ones. Beautiful view of the Petronas Twin Towers accompanied with relaxing music on the background is just the way to go.

An evening on Valentine's Day

Just James and I playing a greek guy giving roses to his Goddess

Initially, I supposed to be working on Valentine's day so James was going to cook something nice for us. But since I finished earlier than I thought and we both got a little too lazy after an eventful day, so we decided to have a simple night out.

This is where we had our dinner. It's just outside out condo. The price of the food is similar to Upperstar in KK. We both ordered Grill Chicken with Cheese and each of us had a pint of Kilkenny for him and Guinness for myself.

No far from where we at, there is a shop that specialize with sweet desserts. So to end our guilt free dinner, we both ordered something for ourselves. I had creme brulee and he had chocolate brownies.

Slowly walking home ending out Valentine's day at home watching a stupid comedy movie called Hot Rod :)

Owhhhhh Yeahhhhh.......... ;P

A Valentine's Day Post ♥

I was waiting for James at the LRT station after work meeting. When he arrive, I thought I saw him carrying a bouquet of flowers. I really didn't expect this from him at all. My heart started to beat so fast. Feeling embarrassed, shy and overwhelmed. I walked away for a while just to catch my breath. Then I turn back and walk towards him.

"Happy Valentine's Day baby. I love you!" he said while presenting the beautiful bouquet of a dozen pink roses.
"Omg.... Wow! Thank you. I love you." i said. I couldn't stop smiling and i think my whole face turned red for the entire ride home.

Apparently I am the first girl he ever bought flowers for. I feel sooooooooo SPECIAL!!!! :)

Thank you baby! Love you long time xoxo

Sexy Snake Print Fashion Trends 2012

Hey there! Uhhhhh I just love animal prints! I'm pretty sure when someone say 'animal print' the first thing that come to mind is leopard! However, I'm taking things differently this year. I'm thinking of something small but deadly! Snake!

Snake print pieces are finally coming back this summer! This print has a sexy sultry and mysterious vibes that makes it a perfect choice to add some edge to your closet.

Yesterday I just bought my first snake print item. It's a vintage shoulder bag by MANGO. Can't wait to sling them over my shoulder today :)

Have a nice start of your work day xoxo

Vintage is Forever

You got (Black)HEELS?

SUPER Essential: A black heels. It's for your feet to look good. Your feet will love you :)

I actually have way too many heels and it gets lesser each time I move places as I ended up throwing them away or donate it to a friend. Well to be fair, today I bought a new shoes because my only black work heels is coming to the end of its life span.

Went to almost every shop that sell shoes and finally settle down with a decent black peep toe heels by Nose. Its RM79.90 and I love it!

Bad Mood

Guess we all have our bad mood swings now and then.

Mine just happened about 2 hours ago at a mamak shop near my condo. I was craving for Maggie Sup (Perisa Ayam) and so I ordered "Maggie sup ayam tambah telur"

When I am not fed in time, I get super cranky. I don't even like myself, what more others!

Waiting for almost 30 minutes which seems like forever then finally my food arrived. I was so furious! They was being too creative with my order! They made Maggie Sup - yes perisa ayam, then they added chicken and the egg was scrambled into the soup with some unknown vegetable.

This is what I got for ordering Maggie Sup ayam with Egg: yuck...

This is what a Maggie Sup Ayam with Egg should look like: so simple and delicious!

So what happened after that, I paid and walked out from the shop. The cook ask whats wrong so I explained my point, but still.... sadly he didn't get it.

I sorta have this anger management I thought would work which simply punch a wall. Or a tree... So I punched a tree and my knuckles bleed and its all bruised now. James said I should maybe just take a deep breathe and count to ten. I shall try that next time. I know I tried that before and it didn't last...

Any other suggestion of how to release anger? How do you control your anger? Would love to hear it from you.

I get angry most when people get my food wrong, not fed on time or food not what i expected...

xoxo

Happy Sunday
