Behind the scene with Women's Health UK in London

A 2 hours and 30 minutes drive from Bristol to London and I can only thank my awesome hubby for doing all the hard work (driving) for me and thank you to Neil (James' Godfather) for letting us stay at his beautiful home in London for the night in preparation for the photo shoot.

London is still as crazy as I have last remember it to be. It's just way too crowded. Almost feel claustrophobic being in there for too long. Think Kuala Lumpur is crazy, you ain't see nothin' yet sweetie. But I heard New York is crazier! Well, I surely need to visit New York someday to feel the difference.

I had one of the most memorable visit to the heart of the magazine company. It really do feels like in the movie. Don't know if anyone watch the Ugly Betty? Yeah, it kinda feels like that. The big glossy office, magazine team with personality and everyone just look so effortless in fashion!

So, as any other photo shoot got make up and hair done then it's show time! It was a pretty fast photo shoot and very simple one. Nothing too complicated. Then Amelia, the writer of the magazine and I had a little short chit chat about the type of workouts I have been doing and what's my goal. It was really fun chatting with her. Not to mentioned, she is pretty cute :)

A big thank you to Emily for choosing me to be part of Women's Health UK magazine. I hope my story will inspire people out there. Keeping our body healthy is completely up to us but with a little motivation and inspiring story can actually help others to see why it's important to have a healthy diet and exercise to make our body stronger. And possibly live longer and healthier, plus you will look and feel great about yourself!

Don't forget to check out Women's Health magazine for some tips on nutrition food, diet, fitness, sex & love and many more. Simply visit http://www.womenshealthmag.co.uk/

Have a great Monday everybody!

Loads of love,

Beachwatch Big Weekend 2012

The Beachwatch Big Weekend 2012
Sand Bay, Somerset
16 September 2012
Organized by Marine Conservation Society

Strong cold wind isn't going to stop me from cleaning up the beach today, nope nope!

All gear up to do the dirty job but a worthy one!

Lauren informing volunteers how far of the beach to cover.

Approximately 40 volunteers turned up in Sand Bay. This event runs in whole of the UK and hope to make it a worldwide event soon.

Volunteers gather up the trash collected.

Rare trash but still wish the owner of this piece of condom dispose this responsibly.

The most common trash found by the beach is Cotton Buds sticks.

Rare but not unusual, huge visible piece of plastic bottles.

Group Photo! And that's a wrap for this year!

I personally find this event very worth while. It really makes you see the wider picture of why we should recycle and not throwing our rubbish irresponsibly. The UK government have implemented ways of recycling and reduce wastage. In every household, there will have 3 different type of rubbish bins provided so trash can be separated such as the paper, plastic and glass. The rubbish collectors comes every Wednesday to collect the recyclable items whereas on other days is the normal rubbish. They also have a special Trash Bin just for Food Waste. It is so pleasant to see this sort of culture that cares about the environment and not just for themselves.

Hope in the future we Malaysians can learn and thing or two about saving the environment. We need to educate people and help them understand why it's important.

Anyway, today's result of trash was only 8kg throughout Sand Bay, Somerset. So i heard KK can round up to hundred over kgs! Especially after a big storm and you get massive trash all the way across from Pulau Gaya. Eeeeekkkkkk......... have to take part in KK beach clean up to tell the difference someday :P

Aights, happy Sunday everybody! Remember to Recycle Reuse and Reduce. And dispose your rubbish responsibly :)

The Abs Story

Once upon a time, she loves to eat food. She love how every different meals, snacks and many many MANY unhealthy, hence fattening food that feels good in her mouth! Ahhh i'm crap at describing how I eat hahahaha Anyway, I have put on so much weight since..... well its up and down all the time, but since arrive UK i admit i ate SOOOO MUCH!!!

So, someone on Facebook (which I don't even know in person) said that I'm fat already. The funniest part is, the person who said I am fat is actually fat themselves. It's so ironic!!!! You calling someone fat but you isn't that fit or in a healthy shape yourself. Sudahlah ko bulat cam doremon, kalau ko muscular cam fiancé sia endak apa jugak. Ish gila babi.

Anyway, we as a lady we don't like it when someone call us fat. It's like me saying you're mama is FUGLY! So putting criticism aside, I have been working out sooOOooooOooooo much!!! Even changed my meal plans to only CEREAL in the morning and eat less than half of what my normal meals for lunch and dinner!!!! And I workout crazy ass in the room.

So i'm proud to say, I am still SEXY! :)

Endless Education

Picture of Paul Nicklen and the deadliest creature in Antarctica, the Leopard Seal. There's an awesome story behind this photo - basically the Leopard Seal was trying to feed Paul. It's a very strange behaviour as Leopard Seal have attack and killed many visitors along the way. They are NOT known to be friendly at all!

So, with the unlimited of free time I have at the moment, I have decided to take up a few courses. I took up Teaching English as a Foreign Language from TEFL ENGLAND (can teach internationally to students who want to learn English as a new language) and my DREAM subject - a Diploma in Marine Biology from Oxford College. So if I have enough money in the future, I can continue to do a Degree in Marine Biology. Yay!

I also been exercising A-LOT and thinking I need to release additional stress by hitting something. So I have been thinking about doing Kendo for a while, even attending their training once just to inspire or give me a kick in ass to get me started, but i hate beginner course. It's so boring. It's not... tactical.

I am full of regrets for not attending my dad's Karate and Kendo class as I was growing up. He's an awesome Sensei, plus then I could learn from free! It's quite pricey here to learn Kendo. Booooooo.....

Anywhoooo..... I'm so excited about my new Diploma i'm about to do. So glad i can do this :)
