Meanwhile in Venice, Italy

So where in the world is this place? Just Venice in Italy during Autumn in 2010. Gondola ride is €8-10 per person (max 6 in a boat) but for a couple (2 person) can be book at €28 per ride.

The ride is approximately 30-45 minutes.

Do note that they do not collect tips personally, but you may tip them once your ride is over. There is a basket provided during your exist where you can give your tips. The tips given will be share among all their gondolier at the end of the day. I feel team spirit!
