Truth is... who wants to grow old alone? When you're in love, you feel like he/she completes you. So blinded by the thing call LOVE! But for me, i have learn't it the hard way. Out of 70% of girls in the world have probably went through what i had. It makes us the 70% smarter and more independent in life.
Right, the point is... if you love someone and plan to have a relationship, that is just ONE THING. But the next level to it, the "Marriage".... Boy you gotta think carefully if this man is capable to take care of you and the children. Is he trustworthy enough, does he have a good financial background. Yes we all know that both husband and wife work together, but the man of the house still needs to be able to give the kids money for education and food at least. Statistics shows 80% of marriages ended up in divorce due to money. Money money money. Nothing but money!
I'm not saying poor man will never get marry doh! I'm just saying, if you girls/women think you are materialistic, always need to shop for new shoes and new clothes like me, please don't ever date a poor man, cause you will end up creating a hard life for yourself and your kids in the future. I'm sorry, but i think the minimum education for everyone should be a degree at least. To get a good job. To get enough income to satisfy the basic needs of the family. In this new era, its just too much expenses, too expensive for anything, everything... prices for food and household things can only get higher, and people have to work 5 times harder than before.
If my sister is reading this, don't be offended by the truth. Hate me if you want to, but i only care for you way too much to say it to you cause you won't listen. You only need to realise it yourself. You know what i have been through. So... i will assume you are smarter than that okay.
So yeah... i hope my future husband will have a good job, enough pay check in the end of the month to pay the bills, buy food and take me shop for clothes, but i will do the same as well, i will definately work and get a good paycheck. Love is Love... but Love needs money to survive, dare to correct me if i'm wrong. Marriage needs money to survive. Go check how much a mother needs for diapers and milk power every month. Medical check-up, and don't forget the education~
Think harder, and make your decision wise.... Ladies~

The truth; yes money important in our life but the fact is that money isn’t the only one element that lead us to happiness or the greatest of life.
True enough being said that money gives us happiness, no doubts at all but in addition to that we need to live our life with balance.
Money is just another element in life, so question pop up, what is next?
Love? If it is then this is the element of feeling, emotion, sentiment, sensation, passion, etc., which so much affecting our mentality, our rountine our reaction towards decision making, efforts and so on. It is more powerful than any other element you can name. It's a judgemental constituent.
It is just like when you are attending an interview for a job, your qualifications might be the highlight but you personality is the foundation.
So here, money is the supporting and the emotion (or more precisely love) is the foundation.
For me it is a decision making that matters, you choice how you wanna live your life. To be with a rich man but loveless, or to be living in a moderate life with a lovely family.
I am not saying marrying a rich man will end up broken hearted but sometimes, we don’t marry a man by judging how fat his pocket is just to buy cloth, shoe etc or maybe for children’s education. Not to argue, yes it is important indeed).
believe, materialistic gurls are capable to earn so much more to cater for their luxuries expenditures.
Bear in mind the rich one come from hardwork too, it just don’t come naturally. So when it involve hardwork, you will end up having extremely busy man on your leftside and loneliness on the other side. To think again, this would be another future pain. There you go, not happy no more.
But girl, follow your heart, and it shall guide to the way it should be.
Happiness in everywhere, poor or rich does not matter.
Big fat pocket is just a security that we desire for but at time you are lonely, you would want more time that money.
When you are alone, you wanted more time to spent with someone you love to be around you, when you are sick, you wish that someone to be by your side, better than having a doctor around (don’t you?) ::-::Sorry Doc! It’s just a saying ;-)::-::
So my conclusion would be;
life + balance (money+love) = happiness.
Love is something, money is one thing, attitude is another thing and happiness is everything. So everything comes back to something.
Writing just to share my point of view and humble thoughts. Sorry if I accidetally touches sensitive issues in any areas.
well of course, depands on where u're staying too ya know~ expenses and all. Like u sed, for job interview, what type of job? Of course the minimun requirement is now a degree, isn't it? Basic say... RM1000 for the start at least? That is good enough. Fair enough, money can't buy love. And of course, WE ALL rather choose a man with LOVE, rather than Money without love. But my point is, in the long-run... i'm talking about marriage really...
I've heard way to many millions of reality life story, their wifes divorce the husbands cause they could'nt handle the household expenditures, children's education needs, and what more, sometimes they don't have food at home to eat. And their wife needs to take 2 jobs and work their ass of, while the hopeless man remain clueless, only know how to borrow money from other people, but still end up owing more money.
I don't know about you, but i feel sorry for them. I know people wil have challenges in life. But i guess i come from a good family, i hate it so much when i hear people divorce due to money. So to avoid this s***, just pray that you find a man that is responsible enough to take care of the entire family needs. My point is, enough money for the basic.
However, true, most women who loves to shop is always rich on it's own. BUT not ALL YAH! But of course, one person has their own voice for everything.
If you're family is the already rich on its own, then no worries about work! lol! Just get married, have 10 kids, grow fat and enjoy life on the fast lane!
If you really need to associate both with each other then maybe u will never find both.
One day u might think that u have. It won't be. It'll just be the feeling of comfort that u will have for the rest of your life.
There is no point to why one SHOULD relate to the other. I'm not saying that it shouldn't be a rational decision u want to make in life.
I'm a guy yet i am in fact insulted at how a girl like you would take us so cheaply. How would you know that a man who really loves a woman would not work his ass off to support her and to cater to her every need at his own expense?
You don't.
Because u have yet to meet someone who would do such an act willingly.
So before judging the entire male species with your personal experience i'd hope that u would think again.
In this world where the female is becoming more reliant on herself, if you want to buy your things, enjoy your life.......EARN YOUR OWN MONEY and stop complaining if your man can afford your lifestyle.
And if you use the whole getting pregnant analogy give it a rest. You would basically just be undermining yourself and the entire female species.
Money is important.. But knowledge is essential as well.. No money to talk, have money can talk.. hehe~ Cheers!
wat u say is true to a certain extent. in kl, in order for a couple to live comfortably, a net income of rm3,000
That is kind of you to share your experience, but it's never good to share pessimism or cynicism. Your experience may not be the same as your sister, even if both of you do the same thing, because the result of a relationship is not due to HOW a person choose their partner. Cos the result doesn't end at choosing. Doesn't mean happiness is achieved after you chose a rich man. For example, me and my friends we are very well established, and we are avoid girls who target rich men. To say that you only care for her way too much and have to tell her your version of the truth, is pressing your opinion on another person's life. That's what poor and old people do to young people. U said that everyone should have at least a degree, but a girlfriend of mine said everyone with just a degree is too common, and cannot guarantee to earn a lot. She has a masters and is finishing her Phd. The material world offers little for our souls, which is forever, while our body is not, so look not too hard for the tangible. Cos the non-tangible always outlast the tangible. Those who have ears, let them hear.
U need 50k at least to live in kl.. so knock urself up and go and get a rich guy... a filthy saggy old man with strong financial background will do it for you...
you think you have everything? actually you have nothing, poor girl. don't try to judge a person before you know them.
wow had no idea some of these guys felt so insulted by wat u said. In fact its actually kinda funny.. i know for a fact that most of em have misread wat ure trying to say..
so guys chill out, she's not trying to stereotype the entire male population as "they are only good for their money".. but she's trying to say that if ure a person that enjoys the expensive things in life, then being with a not-well-of husband might ultimately lead to disaster.
Dear Zerodefect,
why are u insulted from wat she said? its her opinion anyways. Dont stereotype her as some girl that just wants your money. She probably wont even date u if u had lots of money. Im sure all anybody wants is to be loved and taken care of. So if u cant afford to take care of your wife and family, thats bad news bro. Peace.
money is not everything but yet everything needs money
simple to say...
Dear all,
just to clear the air abit even though this post was AGES ago...
I'm sorry if some of you were offended by this post. I did not mean it in a bad way and truly am sorry for those were hurt from this post.
This is merely only my point of view upon life of settling down. I have a lot of jobs to keep myself maintained, and I never take money from man. Never and never ever will unless its a vacation... hehehehe
For shopping and other expenses, I work hard to own what I have right now. My parents have stop giving me money almost half a year now, and I'm totally living in my own expense.
Once again, don't misunderstand me. Thanks to "Damnboy" for backing up for me. Whatever "Damnboy" said would be all I have to say as well...
Thank you...
xoxo Stella
